Website MUSEUM NATIONAL D HISTOIRE NATURELLE
Raising environmental awareness and saving the planet are at the heart of contemporary debate. The Muséum is fully committed to these issues, and plays a pivotal role through the variety of tasks it fulfils: pure and applied research, conserving and enhancing its collections, teaching, expertise and knowledge sharing.

The Muséum is a research centre which relies on laboratory experiments and expeditions across the world, a wide range of disciplines, exceptional collections and acknowledged expertise. It aims to share its knowledge through teaching and public education. The Muséum's clear objective is to make information about the natural world accessible to all and to inform as many people as possible of the need to protect our planet.
