Main activity | This AUV is used for underwater surveys in coastal areas. It is of medium size and can be manoeuvred easily. It is intended for scientific reconnaissance on continental shelves and margins, at depths of up to 2850m. It can conduct multi-instrument surveys with, for example, a multibeam echosounder and sediment echosounder, on profiles of up to 100km in length. Assignments: study of the sea floor or water column for multiple scientific purposes thanks to its highly modular instrument payload. |
