Main activity | The international Argo program operates a global network of more than 3800 autonomous profiling floats that measure in real time the temperature and salinity of the upper 2000m of the ocean. Euro-Argo is the European contribution to the international network. The Euro-Argo ERIC has been set-up in 2014. It is coordinated by France and gathers 11 European countries.
