Institut de Recherche Dupuy de Lôme (IRDL) The IRDL organises scientific research activities for engineering in Brittany, particularly in the fields of marine renewable energy and naval construction. Through its numerous collaborations with industrial partners associated with the maritime sector, the IRDL acts as a link between fundamental research, engineering and technology. ENIB - ECOLE NATIONALE D'INGENIEURS DE BREST ENIB was established in 1961 and is a public-sector institution overseen by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Jacques Tisseau has been its Director since 2008. ENIB is part of the Technopôle Brest-Iroise cluster, which houses research laboratories and high-tech companies. As one of the highly selective French Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs, ENIB offers an all-round engineering education for professionals in electronics, computer science and mechatronics. ENIB is accredited by the French National Commission for Engineering Degrees (CTI), and has been awarded the EUR-ACE European quality label for engineering degree programmes. As a member of the European University of Brittany (UEB) and the ?images & réseaux' and ?Mer Bretagne' clusters, ENIB has two laboratories where it conducts research activity focusing on virtual reality, optical telecommunications and adaptive materials and systems. ENIB is also a member of Campus France and of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). |
